The following step-by-step instructions will help guide you in setting up a new e-mail account. If you are making changes to an existing account, skip to step 10.

  1. Click the icon to Launch Outlook Express or Outlook 2000 (all screens show Express but they are similar in 2000.).



  2. Click Tools then click Accounts....



  3. Click Add.



  4. Click Mail....



  5. Enter Your Name as the Display name: then click Next >.



  6. Enter Your E-Mail Address for the E-mail address: then click Next >.



  7. Select My incoming mail server is a POP3 server. then enter pop.cwia.com for the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP, or HTTP) server: and smtp.cwia.com for the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: then click Next >.



  8. Enter Your E-Mail Address for the Account name: and Your Password (If your password is less than six characters like joe, add 2's to make the total six characters like joe222.) for the Password: then click Next >.



  9. Click Finish to save these settings.



  10. Select your pop.cwia.com account then click Properties.



  11. Click the Servers tab then select My server requires authentication for the Outgoing Mail Server then click Settings....



  12. Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server for the Logon Information then click OK.



  13. Click the Advanced tab to insure your HAVE NOT SELECTED Leave a copy of messages on server for the Delivery section. Make the SMTP port 2525 instead of 25 which it is in picture below, then click OK.



    Click Okay
