Mac OS 8 / OS 9 Dial-Up Networking Setup
Step 1. Open your Hard Disk and select the Assistants Folder.
Click on the icon labeled Internet Setup Assistant

Step 2. Click Yes to continue.

Step 3. Click Yes to create the first Internet account.

Step 4. Click the right arrow to continue.

Step 5. For What would you like to name this configuration?, enter CWIA.
For How will you be connection to the Internet?, click Modem.
Click the right arrow to continue.

Step 6. Select your Modem, Port and select between tone and pulse. Click the right arrow to continue.

Step 7. The phone number for this configuration should be your CWIA local access number. (To disable call waiting, enter *70, followed by a comma, before your local access number.) The name you use with this service should be your CWIA username including @cwia.com. Your password should be your CWIA password. Click the right arrow to continue.

Step 8. Under PPP Connect Script, select No. Click the right arrow to continue

Step 9. Under Domain Name Servers, enter the following numbers for the DNS addresses: Leave blank for Domain Name. Click the right arrow to continue.

Step 10. Enter your E-mail address (username@cwia.com) and your CWIA password. Click the right arrow to continue.

Step 11. Enter mail.cwia.com for your incoming mail and mail.cwia.com for outgoing mail. Click the right arrow to continue.

Step 12. Enter news.cwia.com.

Step 13. Select No and click on the right arrow.

Step 14. Just click on Go Ahead and setup is complete.
